The Owensboro Center for Marriage, through our partnership with CrossPointe College, offers a training program for people passionate about helping relationships thrive. Participants who complete the program earn the credential of Board Certified Christian Counselor* through the National Association of Christian Counselors. We equip you with the knowlege and training, and can help you establish a protocol for helping couples within your own church or ministry. We may even have a position for you on staff, right here with us!

Here’s a breakdown of the program, the cost, and what to expect:
Application Fee – CrossPointe College: $65.00
This application fee covers your admission to the BCCC program at CrossPointe College.
CC101 – Creation Therapy: $250.00
Creation Therapy is the foundation of what we do at The Owensboro Center for Marriage. The courses teaches the model of Temperament, an easy to learn, easy to teach program that helps people truly understand the way God created them. This model has helped countless couples find true freedom in their relationships.

Application Fee – The Sarasota Academy of Christian Counseling: $75.00
Your membership in the SACC authorizes you to run Temperament reports on individuals in your own coaching and counseling sessions.
CC401 – Introduction to Christian Counseling: $250.00
This introductory course addresses the local Church, the Christian Counselor and Coach, and the Christian community.
Required Textbook: Competent to Counsel, Jay Adams
CC402 – Advanced Christian Counseling: $250.00
This course introduces the Bible as the most valuable tool that can be used in marriage counseling and coaching.
Required Textbook: Christian Counseling, Gary R. Collins
CC403 – Counseling for Change: $250.00
This course covers a wide spectrum of counseling and coaching issues with avenues to bring about change in the life of the individuals and couples you work with.
CC404 – Building Strong Marriages & Families: $250.00
This course covers a study of the importance of communication and the periphery things that, when lacking, tend to destroy a marriage.
Application Fee – The National Association of Christian Counselors: $50.00
Membership in the NACC authorizes you to be conferred the credential of Board Certified Christian Counselor*.
Payment for Coursework:
Total Program Cost: $1,440
Students pay for coursework and application fees at the time of ordering each course. However, students are eligible for a $240 discount should they choose to make a one-time payment of $1200 for the entire program.

*The Board Certified Christian Counselor program does not lead to state licensing as a professional counselor, clinical social worker, marriage & family therapist, or alcohol and drug counselor, but rather a certified counselor through the National Association of Christian Counselors.
